How it works
The NSW Government is helping eligible households upgrade to efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning and other energy-saving improvements, with no interest and no upfront or ongoing fees, repaid over up to 10 years. We can now arrange it for you through Brighte. Get an obligation-free quote and we'll sort the rest.
It's a NSW Government program that lets eligible households borrow up to $15,000 at 0% interest to install approved energy-saving upgrades, including efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning.
What it does is spread the cost out, interest-free, so you can get the comfortable, efficient system you actually want without the big upfront hit. We'll lay out the full cost, with the loan applied, in a clear quote.
Eligibility

You own a home in NSW, as an owner-occupier or a landlord.

Your household's combined taxable income is up to $210,000 a year.

You're an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

The property isn't social housing or used for short-stay accommodation.

Loans are subject to Brighte's approval and credit assessment.

Step 2: Lock in a date
Now that you've been connected with one of Brightes accredited tradies - next up is booking a date for installation. Some times of year are busier than others, so this part usually needs a little flexibility.
Once the work is complete, Brighte pays your tradie in full.
Step 3: Start saving
You’re good to go! Fortnightly repayments kick-off. Brighte will notify you in advance before each payment.
